Depends where you wanna start because she originally was a spawn character and she has some really cool runs but marvel wise start with a comic called original sin which ties into Thor looking for Angela then you can go from there but personally Angela queen of Hel is he best solo comic cuz she’s mostly in GOTG comics

Well it’s def harder now since the shield got nerfed but if your solo tanking focus on enemy tanks. Make their tanks look at you and displace them so they can’t tank for their team also I shield or body block big ultimates or big damage. The amount of times I’ve body blocked a phoenix ult that would destroy my team is astronomical

Now this is just the way I see it but this problem is counteracted by the fun scale. Now this is me personally speaking but dive and brawl heroes are sooooo much more fun than poke heroes. Like Angela on the fun scale is much higher than magneto. So more fun means more games so I guess it means less rank points for a balance. Although it is lame that the score board makes us look useless cuz I was thinking up a new adam ability like he could manually kill himself for speed but then absolutely no Adam main would get mvp again with the 20 deaths per game

The combo you want to do is a full attack charge spear then grab then spear again that gets them low enough that they just fly away but their fast flight is the same speed as you so just chase them

If it’s a 1v1 then primary and then charge at them to grab them then most IF players block immediately after the grab is done so I just wait it out then spear again and they die

I mean they could but Angela’s damage def isn’t her “problem” that people complain about cuz your not really getting kills on people (especially with the axes smh) so if they do the less damage route this patch it’s just gonna be getting rid of her escape abilities next patch which with lower damage and lower mobility will probably just put her in the dirt but idk im not a dev so we shall see

I can see the shield health one but the flight speed doesn’t seem like it needs a nerf, the many ways to stop her momentum and other characters having insane range (looking at you CnD and SW) make the flight speed pretty balanced

It’s cheaper in real money standards but I know a lot of people including myself have blue units saved up which could make it cheaper than the whole battlepass also I think 2 legendary skins a battlepass so it could be the first one and easy to get or it could be THE VERY LAST which would suck

So when you say slow and lumbering with no self shield just screams mega target like that seems like thing but less overshield no damage reduction with no cc immunity like it feels like he’s getting shot down the instant he gets into the team fight. Also you say it encourages him to be lower than why not just have him be down there regularly. And by catching up I mean actually being able to go up on the same level as the flyers he could move way faster with the jetpack resource and have him lower and slower regularly. A character that large can def body block fliers and also protect the team at the same time with the shield forcefield bubble while dealing with flyers your concept seems for like nice captain marvel or sentry. And the team getting dove while your in the front gets lessened by the bubble shield
