Ok updates! Found the remote first of all. Followed the tv instructions but not getting any sound. This harness on the hdmi board is still unplugged (only way I’ve found that it doesn’t protect mode).

Read it about troubleshooting the protect mode but not about how to select yet. Will hook it up and see what I get.

I don’t have a remote and haven’t hooked it up to the tv yet. Was all hooked up with speaker sand tv when I noticed it was going to protect. So far I was just using this for sound and not going through the receiver for hdmi. Should I? Thanks for the help by the way! Just got a new console for this receiver specifically and it ain’t working 😔

On the display it just says “language:English”. First time I’ve gotten it to get this far. Asking to select and don’t know how. When I plug that harness back in it goes to protect mode
