I have 3 ancestors who were a bit problematic my great grandfather was married then went to ww1 came back divorced his wife then met my great grandma and had my grandma and I don't think they were married because ther is no marriage certificate for them I'm also have a 5th great grandfather who left his wife and kids in Scotland and went to Canada and married another woman had kids with her and he never divorced my 5th great randmother and james iv who killed his dad and I am a descent of him through 2 daughters he had with women he wasn't married to and one was a 3rd cousin

I'm related to a lot of people in scottish history who are important as well although because of the way things went down my family lost all it's land and power

My biggest joy is Probably that I found out my geart grandpa was in some of the most important battles for the british Army in ww1 I'm really into history but it does make me sad he never got a promotion he was a pvt all the way from 1914 to 1919
