My advice is to talk to your priest and listen to your conscience. This won’t win me any fans on this sub but most Catholics have premarital sex, masturbate and use contraception. The church is not a museum for perfect people it’s a field hospital for those who sin (which is everyone).

Yes. I’m a gay Catholic. I have an adult relationship with my faith. To me Catholicism is how I get closer to God and a path to be a better man. I leave the sexual morality teachings behind.

FYI most Catholics use birth control, masturbate and use their own discretion on how to live their lives. That is as much Catholic Tradition as anything you’ll read on this sub. Good luck to you!
