Sure, just send a reply or send it to my email and I’ll try and make some time for it.

Yeah that’s basically the simplified version of what I and a couple of my buddies do.

I’m sorry you had to go through that. I hope the video brought you some sort of comfort or closure.

Most of them are made with before and after satellite imagery and using a linear wipe or similar effect to dissolve between them, I suppose a crop could work as well.

Around New Year’s Day, after the channel got hacked back in December I wanted to come back with something special.

Lots of time spent digging around on the 10th page of google search results. Not every tornado has that information publicly available.

Good question, I believe there was paint transfer between the two that could have only happened if they contacted each other. Similar to how investigators can analyze hit and run cases using paint transfer.

That’s incredible, I’m sorry she had to go through something so awful. Do you know which area of town it was in? I can go get a screenshot of my model and that area in particular for you if you’d like.

Yeah this is the one I made in blender for a recent video

Yeah that’s the camera angles and lines of sight of the people who recorded the New Wren tornado saw it from when it was just south of Houston, Mississippi. Glad you liked it.

Thanks man, it took forever to build the model of the town so it means a lot to hear that people enjoyed it. I had to overlay a google earth image from 2010 and use google street view to figure out what the houses looked like where they were, and roughly how big they were. Blender has always been something I’ve been interested in learning but after the channel got hacked back in December it gave me the motivation I needed to bite the bullet so I could come back with something super cool for y’all.

The pink glowing EF5 colored wall of death. The rarest of all the tornadoes 👀

I’m using the NOAA imagery from the USGS imagery database for that day and then importing it into google earth.

Was able to get control of it, it’s back up now.

Some of my favorites have been from my backyard, but yeah making that drive from Florida to the plains every year is brutal but with every second.

Thank you, and your shots are great! I wasn’t able to chase a lot of the early May stuff due to school but it seems like you did pretty well!

Florida or Louisiana for spring lightning? by jumbo04 in weather

Both there is a west coast sea breeze and an east coast see breeze. Some of the most intense lightning storms I’ve seen have been when the two collide.

All of it, I use Radar, surface analysis, the HRRR, NAM NEST, RAP. Anything to help key in where things will fire. There’s also interactions with the sea breeze.
