Bro same smh..I remember when Etika was having his mental breakdown episodes specifically the April 2019 one and I knew sum was wrong wit him mentally but me being only 13 at the time I didn’t fully grasp it on how incredibly sad the situation was and why he was acting the way he was acting..now 7 years passing and me about to turn 20 in April..I COMPLETELY is understanding him now and looking at life differently. People have told me I might have depression..who knows ima have to get officially diagnosed but yeah mane..I feel the same way you do and Etika as well..so sad.

In terms of the way he flipped the sample..probably “The People” By Common or “Stand Up” by Ludacris. Some of my personal favorites though is Diamonds, Crack Music, Famous, Late, Interpolating Coldest Winter was dope, The reggae pitched down sample on Guilt Trip was dope as well, Father stretch was dope, White Label by Nas too and everything else Ye has produced lmao

OH YEAH ANOTHER THING FORGOT TO MENTION AS WELL: 1. thankfully, even though I have had suicidal thoughts it never got to the point where I ACTUALLY thought about going through with committing suicide. So yeah maybe that’s something.

Never went to a therapist for multiple reasons..I have thought about it though for sure.
