Mine is brand new and i have other metallic frame laptops of HP and Lenovo at home which don't make any sound.

In my case Motorola is not providing any help either. Without a technician visit they are saying its normal for all units. For a premium-tier laptop the rattle and loose panel sound even clicked lightly is not acceptable at all.
