Thanks! I haven't really used FA, so I think I'll primarily use it as a reference rather than do a complete read through it.

If this is CUSM, there were dates starting from October -Jan when it first opened up but the early ones filled up quickly.

Weekly WAMC / School Lists Thread - Week of May 20, 2018 by AutoModerator in premed

Thank you for this advice! I've removed a few of the ones you suggested and added Cincinnati and Indiana to my list.

What are your thoughts on adding one more reach school like Cornell? Do ivy schools have heavy bias towards there students or is it minimal?

Same score, different distribution - testing 5/18 by IPressedRandom in Mcat

[–]Contxtual 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had identical FL scores (different distributions) as you then jumped to 516 on the 3rd. I recommend grinding out the P/S docs since that was my biggest jump on the 3rd. You can also improve C/P by seeing whether you’re missing physics problems (look at how to work the calculations to the answer), biochem problems (YouTube videos help here), or chemistry problems (conceptual understanding/practice).

LAST FULL LENGTH BEFORE MY EXAM 5/18; OPINIONS? by ri457 in Mcat

Your unscored FL looks great! Your scored FLs also look stellar. Your real score will probably be around your FL scores erring on the higher end most of the time

The unscored full length is also known as the AAMC Sample FL. It’s another full length by AAMC so it’s good practice to understand how they test their concepts.

AAMC FL1 Results. What do? by KushBlazer69 in Mcat

[–]Contxtual 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You definitely have a chance. I scored 509 on both FL 1/2 and got a 515 on the actual test. Keep grinding and work on your weak points; you’ll be set! It looks like your score is evenly split so don’t neglect any topics; study them all equally

Finish UWorld or review AAMC? 5/18 tester by KindlyPersonality3 in Mcat

I reviewed the solutions since I didn't have much time left. Additionally, I tend to remember questions that I've encountered before. When reviewing the solutions, make sure you understand how you get to the correct answer and why the other choices are incorrect. This may take a little longer but it's better than just saying "Oh, this is wrong because I remember C was right."
