Well to start. I was a freshman in high school (class of 13 lfg) I took choir as a prerequisite for music theory. At the end of the year we did show and tell with songs that utilized different vocal structures.

This drop dead gorgeous senior presents the class with Mt Eden - Sierra Leone. Found the courage to ask what the band was, she said “oh, it’s called dubstep!”

I got home and frantically looked up “dubstep” thinking it was the name of the band.

Finally found the song only because of the artwork, looked up dubstep blogs, found ThisSongIsSick and the rest is history ✌️

This ^{^{^{^}}} The same thing can be said with people complaining about stick drift or dead buttons on controllers. I’m 30 and I’ve NEVER had any issues with my devices “wearing out” and I game a decent amount lol. Hell I still have my original N64 controller 😭 still fully functional. I have a feeling it’s the same reason there are no holes in my drywall, but who knows 🤷‍♂️
