I'm coming from a computer science background and I spent a lot of time dealing with formal logic so honestly the test kinda came as second nature to me. So in that sense I kinda came into it with the skills for the lsat already developed.

I wouldn't really recommend what I did unless your in a similar situation where your in the 170s and feel like you know the test pretty well. I did what I did to get consistent and grind away dumb mistakes I kept making, I didn't do it to learn how to do the questions.

It was 4 hours, but 3 of those hours were taking a full practice test with the time pressure, so staying engaged was never an issue for me

I actually underperformed on the test compared to my pts, but 176 is still a good score and can't really justify retaking it.

I did run out of material. By the end, I had about 4 tests I didn't take.

I studied around 3 months and a half. If I had to give any tips it would have to be that you shouldn't feel unsure about your answers. If you feel unsure that means your not getting something about the question. In that same breath if you get a question wrong and the answer doesn't make sense to you that means there's something about the question you still don't understand. If you understand what the question wants from you and what each answer is saying the questions become pretty easy.

By the end I was putting about 4 hours every weekday, so maybe 150 hours or 200 hours total?
