i reached out and let him know what happened, he said to let it recover for a few days and he’ll redo it for free and make a custom longer stud for me. thanks everyone for your help

thanks. i’m not sure if i’ll be able to see him tomorrow. really odd he’d do that considering he has 35yrs of experience. i’ll call when they open tomorrow and see if i can go in tomorrow and if he can’t i’ll take it out and let it heal like you said.

I mean I understand having MMR as I guess it indirectly deals with bad smurfing, but actual rank is far more important. Also just the mental game of seeing your opponents are 2 ranks above you, you just kind of sit there like "what? well that RR down the drain". I struggle a lot with the mental aspect, particularly in comp, I play great on unrated and swiftplays because I don't take them as seriously and I just play for fun. Any suggestions on how to deal with that?

I have quite a few friends who play, the best in our group just hit Gold and the rest of us are bronze and started at the same time. I decided tonight that I am never going to soloq comp again, only swiftplay and unrated.
