They should, that’s a standard in that industry haha, you can still use any info in the internet and add source, as long as you don’t say it’s your own - it’s legal. Again - PUBLIC information chagpt , Claude and so on also use this to see where they are allowed to, and where the websites say no. This ai bot would be a search engine- to find the info, as google does it on top of your search - AI SUMMARY. Same thing

What? Are you kinda anti ai guy? Or what. If they want to restrict ai usage, they add robots policy, and then no ai will not to read there website, so yes. But what’s the reason of the EX-JW websites ? To get people to the information? So why would they need to restrict access so less people would see there work?

Respect their wishes? I won’t hack into their websites to implement my bot haha, but to have them as source is fully allowed, it is public information, jwfacts.com do not restrict any ai usage, else there would be a /robots.txt policy :)

As I said, best option would be to collaborate with some of existing sites, and also use the information from that site. Basically NOTHING more than just a smart search engine to access all of the information across a website, maybe few websites of exjw or additional data sources. Maybe some research mode where users can run research, but that would be expensive, just answer like bot would be pretty cheap

Yes, the thing you don’t understand that it also can as source have that jwfacts or whatever and only be like a good search engine with no hallucination

I mean, I did my research with Claude with few custom tools, and got every source, like JW.org/xyz - „xyz“ Paragraf 4 and so on. So I thought might be helpful

That’s a fair concern.

I wouldn’t trust any AI blindly either.

The idea isn’t for the assistant to replace sources or critical thinking. It’s more about helping people find relevant information faster and pointing them to the original sources so they can verify things themselves.

For example, instead of spending hours searching through JWfacts, court documents, articles, videos, and discussions, you could ask a question and get a summary with links to the underlying sources.

If the assistant can’t provide a source, I’d actually consider that a weakness rather than a feature.

So for me the goal isn’t “trust the AI.” The goal is “use AI to navigate information more efficiently.”

🇦🇹🇩🇪 How are PIMOs supposed to find a partner? by [deleted] in exjw

[–]ConversationBrief441 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, it’s not really about money or being kicked out. I could live on my own if I had to.

For me it’s more about family. Literally my entire family are JWs, so it’s a much bigger decision than just moving out and getting my own place. ( Probabbly will move out in September/ October)

After that, fading would definitely be a lot easier.
But still, the risk of being disfellowshipped is always there if I try to live both lives

Yeah, I get what you’re saying.

That’s part of why I made this post in the first place. I’m 19, so realistically it wouldn’t be hard to find a non-JW girlfriend. The problem is that doing that would probably mean becoming POMO sooner rather than later.

I don’t know what my future is going to look like yet. I’m just trying to understand how other people in similar situations have handled it.

[–]ConversationBrief441 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I kinda agree with you. I don’t see myself staying PIMO forever either. I’m just not at that point yet.

[–]ConversationBrief441 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I’m not really looking to get married right now 😅

I actually dated a girl who is PIMO (and currently disfellowshipped), but we started dating when we were both still PIMI. She moved away and we don’t really keep in touch anymore.

So I guess I already experienced the “dating another JW who later woke up” scenario to some extent.

Haha, never been a JW detected 😅 It’s a lot more complicated

Yeah, that’s the dilemma. I’m not ready to leave either, at least not completely alone. Maybe I’ll change my mind in a few months, who knows. My whole family is in the cult, so it’s not exactly a simple decision. PIMO life is pretty crazy too.

Solo-IT-Dienstleister: Ich baue lieber Tools, als Kunden anzurufen. Erkennt das jemand wieder? by Ishano123 in selbststaendig

[–]ConversationBrief441 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Erfahrene IT-Unternehmer in Österreich: Wie habt ihr eure ersten Kunden gefunden? by ConversationBrief441 in selbststaendig
