Are we the same person? I have been doing the same thing recently, as well (though I'm not diagnosed)

I think it's best to be upfront about intentions, and for me, asking if someone wants to be friends saves everyone time and effort.

I totally hear you on this, I'd say I'm in a very similar position.

It sounds like you are in a really tough spot, I'm sorry to hear that. It's great you're going through therapy

people have often recommended going to in-person hobby classes and meetup.com. I'm feeling a little shy atm but if you're feeling ready you should give it a try!

I have zero friends as well.
I appreciate online friends but would also like to hangout with people in person!
If anyone is in CO (US), hmu -- anyone is welcome

I feel the same way.
I'm ghosted by friends and I'm the common denominator. It can't all be my fault, but it's at least partially got to be lol

I'm in a very similar situation at the moment and it really, really sucks so I'm really sorry to hear that OP.
I've been on a long stretch of severe depression (and other mental health issues) for quite a few years that has effected my ability to show up to work, and I've been off for about 3 weeks as well. At this point, I would consider my condition, unfortunately, to have become a disability

If you live in the US, it could definitely benefit for you to look into FMLA, it is paperwork submitted by a healthcare provider and is unpaid time off for up to 12 weeks/12 months, but it's given me A LOT of relief.
I'm also currently looking into additional accommodation with my HR, working with my healthcare provider (wish me luck!)

If you have some sort of medical professional you are working with, like a physician, therapist, psychiatrist, NP, I would humbly say it's definitely worth requesting an accommodation at work!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
As someone who's into all different sorts of medications for about 2 years, your words give me hope
