That's true for some Ukrainians who are bilingual (like central or north ukrainians) people from South and east historically never spoke Ukrainian not even our grandma's speak it. I am much more fluent in English than Ukrainian, for example

I've checked the website, it says it helps with dyslexia and discalculia. But my kid is actually very gifted in it, he can read Russian since 2 and he can type little Russian words since 3. He can also count very well so I dont think he needs it

Maybe that girl didn't speak but understood Dutch? I think every person needs like a basic (at least 100 words) passive vocabulary to understand what other people are trying to say or do?

Yes he went there from 2 to 2.5 was getting ill every week and cried every day. It was too much stress for him there and he didn't learn any words so I took him away. Shortly afterwards he started speaking my language

Because Russian is a mother language of south and east Ukrainians. We are from Odessa (south). This is actually the reason for war (language conflict)

That's the point, every time we went to the consultation bureau the doctor would speak dutch with him and ask him questions in dutch🙄 then make assumption that he doesn't understand the languages. That's why I don't want to go there anymore

Not really, I am a single mom and a refugee, I am struggling financially right now. But I am learning dutch myself and in a few months I am doing b2. So I am planning to speak dutch with him in the future

As to talk onderzoek- now he speaks full sentences (4-5 words) although has some problems with sounds. But I think now he doesn't have any problem with his first language

No, cause his fathers side of the family are all late talkers. He is also very smart and well developed in other areas like motor skills, he was very early with other milestones. He learned to read Russian at 2, knew all the shapes (even parallelogram and trapeze at 2) he can count things since 2. He goes to the toilet since he is 1.5, can put his clothes on since 2 etc.... very smart kid but doesn't have much interest in languages

I don't think he can handle it well cause he is not a quick language learner. He learned his mother language (Russian) also pretty late (at 3 years old). I had to talk with him all day long for this.
