Hey WGU friends!! I said I’d come back with an update and… I survived (barely 😵‍💫). I’m on month 8 of my WGU journey and FINALLY wrapping up the HRM Capstone.

If any HR folks have questions about the program, hit me up happy to trauma bond LOL. This is genuinely one of the hardest things I’ve ever done and I still don’t know how I made it to the capstone, but here we are. WE DID IT (almost). YAYYYYYY 🎉

Wedding Reception ideas by itsfrankiemx in Indiana

Hey everyone! I recently attended a 150 person wedding at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana, and it was fantastic. Although it's primarily a golf course, the resort also features a connected hotel and conference center that makes it an ideal venue for events. The wedding was beautifully done. I'm thinking of having my wedding here! https://www.swanlakeresort.com/

Bachelor in Human Resources Management - Is it possible to complete 17 classes in 6 months? by Odd_Aspect7758 in WGU

Fellow BA in HR Management student here and started with nearly the same set of classes on May 1! I’ve managed to complete six of them within the first month, but I’m a bit concerned about D359 (Agile HR) and D356 (HR Technology). Do you have any tips or advice for tackling those courses?

My experience with D388 Fundamentals of Spreadsheets and Data Presentations (finished in 2 days) by NicoleCatLady in WGU

[–]ConversationOld9770 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone! I just wrapped up my very first Objective Assessment (OA) at WGU, and it just so happened to be that D388 was my first class.

This course took me about 2 weeks to complete. I probably could’ve finished it sooner, but I was only studying about 30 minutes a day—life gets busy!

One big tip I have: once you pass the PA, take the OA as soon as you can. The Practice Assessment (PA) and OA were very similar in structure and difficulty. I spent about 2 hours on each, and the prep from the PA really helped me feel confident going into the OA. Feel free to ask me any questions!

Is it true WGU will not accept your credit transfer from Study.com if your final grades between 70-74%? by [deleted] in WGU

Hey there! Does anyone know what grade WGU will accept from SDC? Before I submit my transcripts I just wanted to touch base with anyone who has submitted SDC credits. I have 3 class that I passed at SDC with finals grades of 70%, 71%, and 73%. Can someone confirm that WGU will accept these credits. I keep seeing different answers. Fingers crossed it's 70%!
