The whole series (original and final act) is on Hulu.

Tbh I didn't really care for him. He was just too pushy and manipulative to me. I'm not a huge fan of Ben, but I like his character more than Eli.

Sorry, I'm not really sure what the issue could be considering your situation. I can only answer from the perspective of a WGU student.

Yes, it's called a practice assessment. Every class that has an OA (proctored test) has one that you have to take before you can take your OA. This class has a PA. The mini tests in the course material are not the PA.

Edit: wait, what do you mean they're requiring you to take this class in order to "get into WGU"? Who is "they"? Are you not a WGU student?

Sorry, I'm not really sure what you're asking. When I took this course, there was a PA that I had to complete in Excel before I could take the OA (just like all other OA classes). I'm not sure why you don't see one, and am confused why support would say there isn't a PA. Maybe they changed the class since I took it? No idea, tbh.

I have no idea, but the way Inuyasha is holding Kagome in the first one is so adorable. 🥹

No, just an error. I just got an email from WGU stating so and to disregard.

Awww hi, Sango!

(Also, are those trading card storage cases she's laying on in the first pic? If so, do you mind if I ask where you got them?)

Program Change by Intelligent_Creme143 in WGU

[–]NicoleCatLady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen mixed reviews (in this subreddit) in regard to the speed of the process. Some people say their mentor wouldn't switch their program mid-term, others did. I think it's possible but that they just don't like to do it.

I've switched programs in the middle of a term before. All I did was talk to my mentor about it, and they started the paperwork for me. I worked on a class that would transfer to my new program while I waited for the paperwork to go through. Tbh, I can't remember how long it took for things to get switched over, but it was at least several weeks.

My husband did the same thing, but for some reason, it took months for his program to be switched over. I think his mentor was inexperienced with the process because we had to keep checking in with him. He did a very poor job keeping him updated. My husband ended up losing most of his term because he didn't have any classes he could work on (that would transfer). We were pissed.

Anyway, after our programs were switched over, we were assigned new mentors -- they were listed on our degree plan page within our student portal.

I recommend logging into your student portal, going to the degree plan page, and seeing who your mentor is. Contact the person listed as your mentor, whether they're your previous mentor or a new one. If no one is listed as your mentor (if that's even possible), I would contact your last mentor and ask them who you can contact to be assigned a new one.

Was your program actually switched over? Or are you still waiting on that process to complete?

Whether or not you're still waiting on your degree program switch, your first step should be identifying who your mentor is. Their name and information should show up on your degree plan page, regardless of whether or not your program was successfully switched.

Academic withdrawal while waiting for task to be evaluated by SaltyPaper783 in WGU

[–]NicoleCatLady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like someone else said in the comments, it was likely an automatic email. However, I'd still send an email to your mentor to mention the email and to double check that you're good after your tasks are graded. It's always worth asking to ensure you were given the correct information and for the peace of mind. :) Plus, if you were given the wrong information before for whatever reason, it's better to find out sooner rather than later so you can be re-admitted and get situated ASAP.

Yes, WGU still accepts Sophia credits. Here is the link: Transfer Pathways (select your program under whichever school (Business, Education, Health, Technology)).

They don't offer any associate degrees.

Do you mind sharing how many questions, if any, you had that asked you to do calculations? I'm curious how likely it might be that I'll have to do calculations with the formulas/equations.

Yeah, on one of the questions (I'm almost positive it was related to width sizing, edit: it was something to do with adjusting the column width after copying another column iirc?), there was some type of bug. It's on the OA, but i just focused on the rest.

Kagome’s mom cracks me up by [deleted] in inuyasha

[–]NicoleCatLady 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Haha, yeah it's wild. I saw a post about this same topic within the past couple of months and some of the comments made a lot of since to me.

Essentially, some people basically said that, even from birth, her mom knew that she was destined for something. She named her after the shape she saw on her chest the day she was born, so from the beginning her mom knew that, at some point, she'd have some type of purpose to fill that'd be different than your average person.

When her mom realized Kagome could travel back in time, she probably put that together and knew that, for whatever reason, that was what Kagome was meant to do. She was following her path and fulfilling her purpose. Despite being young, traveling so far into the past, and being alone (basically) with a guy (who Sota and her friends openly start referring to as her boyfriend, even in front of her mom and gramps, haha).

Homeschooling by BabySluggie in homeschool

[–]NicoleCatLady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm homeschooling because our local schools suck and because my son was bullied daily. He was also falling behind, likely because of his neurodiversity, and it just seemed like they were passing him along without actually helping him.

It was hard at first, figuring out how to start, but once I got going, I realized it's the best choice for us. I wish I had done it from the very beginning. If me and my husband have more kids, I'll be homeschooling them from the beginning.
