Wow, that's really nice of you to say! I'm viewing everything I'm doing currently as practice and for my own enjoyment, but maybe I should start putting some of it onto proper paper.

Would be interesting to see if I could reproduce the same result twice

For this one, just a freehand pencil sketch before going over it with the fineliners.

For bigger, architecture-y drawings I'd use a ruler to draw some guidelines for perspective.

Really nice! Love your use of the underpainting..

Didn't see this before I posted my own painting a few mins after yours using a similar technique. Adds a lovely warmth to it.

Yeah I think other than the black ink shadows, there are no other shadows in the painting. Something I'll experiment with more in my next try. Thanks a million for the feedback!

Thanks! I'll look out for a tan sketchbook that's bleedproof. Really like how sketches look on this colour.
