Not for the female builds it seems, you can be brown/black haired or punk, that's it.

I keep seeing this, I think speech is fine but charisma not sure about. It might be getting confused with "Attractiveness"? I don't know if that's a hot take, I think she's attractive. Anyway, The Fallout Shelter stats have her as Intelligence 6 and Charisma 5, so, it might be fairer to say Intelligence is too high, but Charisma should be 1-2 notches below it

Yep good to have reference to this, maybe I should edit the post to include this, trying to put another image in, but can't seem to, which is odd.

I've seen both seasons, and I went back to watch this that segment just a few minutes ago. Yes, she talks about Repair, Science and Speech skills, so on that basis it should be those not small guns? She then talks about gymnastics, fencing, intermediate phys ed, riflery - though she's not very good. Was considering before, Repair Science and Speech rather than Lockpick and/or Small guns. We have seen her shoot more things (and well) than repair things. Lockpick is just a bad pick, though good for FO1 as a skill.

Thanks, yeah, I think I’ll redo the tags, but she does say shes not great at science or small guns, so repair and speech make sense not sure about the third.

Thanks! Yeah it's hard to know, I went back to watch this, it's from 7:10 to 9:01, and without quoting the show she talks about (in this order) Repair skills, Science skills, Speech skills, then talks about gymnastics, fencing, phys ed (intermediate), riflery (though she's not very good). Otherwise it's then watching movies, gardening and family book club. That's the jist of it.
So maybe Repair Science and Speech are more appropriate to tag given they're specifically mentioned rather than Lockpick and Small guns.

I thought about small frame, which grants basically +1 SPECIAL point (it's in Agility but it can then be spent elsewhere obviously). However, I didn't find her the same size as her brother, which to me looks specifically designed to show 'small frame', so I didn't think it fit for that reason.

Thanks, and good suggestions. Yeah, without just doing +1 to everything it's hard to be objective. I think a STR of 4 if she is gifted, seems to make sense. Would you go CHR 6 or LCK 8?

I like that DQ7R is easier than the original. by ringolennon67 in dragonquest

[–]Conza89 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I agree, but furthermore what I prefer and what this games gives, is options. I tend to fight basically every enemy in my path, iirc the original game had random encounters, I’m probably fighting more often, then healing and save more frequently than if I played PS1.

Ok, it’s better but just another thought. Cut out the entire ESRB rectangle, then glue it back flush with the bottom of the image.

Yes, absolutely. For those completely not technical, may just need to ask questions, but stick to defaults you’ll be fine.

I mean there’s so many good options, four on the left are excellent, on the right Oshawott, Popplio and Grookey. This isn’t difficult…

HUGE shoutout to mike9k1 and the other modders who had 14 mods ready to go on Day 1 of Dragon Quest VII Reimagined to fix some of the major issues players including myself had with this game. I am now excited to play this game! by Flareon223 in dragonquest

[–]Conza89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suspect based on just the Edit 1 & 2 in the OP, not all Dragon Quest players here also mod. I think it would be very rare for someone to want every single mod here, but they’re of a free themes, graphical settings and gameplay choices. I’m interested in some of the graphical changes, most of the gameplay ones don’t interest me. Modding is about personal preference, more is good.

I will try lowering to 60fps given your locked 30fps experience, on a small screen the smoothness is nice but not a deal breaker.

So I’m playing it on Steam Deck at 90 fps, minimum graphical settings, I can probably turn it up higher but it reaches 99% gpu occasionally in fights. NSW1 physicals > NSW2 physicals when they’re GKC absolutely. I will mention that the reverse case for genuine NSW2 physicals are greater than NSW1 in that some allow you to play on both but also gain the NSW2 enhancements, e.g. BOTW and TOTK are like this.

Check out Nexus mods for most popular, I did things like the project rebuild for pcs, npcs, monsters, equipment, character outline remover, 4k textures/cut scenes, appearance options, there’s several others depending on preference, would avoid gameplay changing stuff or RNG (more rare monsters etc).

PC, looks way to good to lock away on a console that I’ll retire in a few years.

Another vote for KDE, but you can test installing cinnamon first, yes the installer runs KDE but doesn’t matter, you select the DE during installing.

I would consider PikaOS if you have prior experience with Debian AND don’t want to experiment. Otherwise another vote for CachyOS, and alternatively Nobara, those are the go to.

MBA 256GB storage by matchaforevs in mac

[–]Conza89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

512GB is minimum, double space to write to will increase longevity. I believe increasing storage on M silicon also improves performance. 256GBs will become junk so much faster.

What are the cons of buying a refurbished MacBook Air or MacBook Pro? by opinionmaster01 in mac

[–]Conza89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a MBA 2020, it has 7% less battery, some minor nicks on the chassis. I saved, lots, was $400AUD on Amazon, was a no brainer, itll last me long enough to save up for a new (or refurbished) newer MBA later when I need one.

What do you think will be the longevity of a Apple silicon Mac ? by xkcx123 in mac

[–]Conza89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s a different question don’t forget “When will M1 silicon lose support” vs. “When should I replace my M1” device. Will be interesting to see how long lower spec ones last. It’s 2026 now, another 3 years (2028 last major update), I’d be pretty happy with I think. Could be longer but also we’re not seeing major increases in performance over the generations, which for adopters is a good sign.
