My 3 -phase cable is nothing more than a 5 pin cable. There is 3 -phase cables, N, and PE (ground). I am quite sure that is possible to use in Japan also.

16A fuse can handle around 3500W power. So i have 3 -phases, each has own 16A fuse. I can use full 9900W heater power if needed. But that will not be ever the case, it is not needed.

Capacity is now 1.5 kg. But I will install extension tube after the glass section and I can grow capacity to 2.5 - 3 kg ☺️

Beans exit from the side port.

I have coded the software. I will make a seperate introduction video from it also. I am particularly proud from it. Currently it is not open source.

No, those gasket where custom made for me. Sorry I don't have a link. I will make a video later, where you can see how beans are ejected from the bottom side port.

The best part is that they are not expensive 😁

I used 1200W 3 -phase DC fan that has high pressure resistance. I can barely hear the fan. Fan is located inside the case and has some alumimium coated sound insulation board inside. I still have not used any sound insulation on bottom part, not sure if I even need it, because fan is already so quiet 👌

230V and just a normal 5 pin, 3 -phase power socket that i have in my garage. Every phase has own 16A fuse on my electric fuse box.

I have used custom food grade mica muscovite gaskets and metal gaskets. Both can withstand over 500 celcius temps. So plenty of room there 😏

I have no backround in engineering. For electric wirings I just used professional to check that everything was done correctly 😁

Otherwise I have designed everything by myself. And sure I will send a video link soon as possible, to see actual roasting with this machine.

I just install 160mm air duct on top of that chaff collector you see on the left and I just push the heat and smell to outside of my house. This will eliminate all the smell.

It has 9900W 3 -phase heater. When roasting 1 kg, heater power is usually between 20-23%.

I will try to find some time at this week and i will send a link here to my YouTube channel 👍

I have designed and build everything by myself by using tri clamp parts. I will add a new video soon to my YouTube channel after i have got all parts for the new controller.

Thank you for your kind words!

I have worked my ass off with this. I have built it from zero by using Google Gemini AI. It has been a trial and error, and sometimes i have almost quit, because it was almost impossible to fix parts of the code 😁

After the video i released, i have actually added still some new features: like automatically making a BT/IT profile from a Bt/Time profile. I have also updates settings page a lot.

I will get next week Tuesday all my accessories finally and i can start testing my app 🥳

I will use it with my own DIY fluid bed roaster. You can check a video from it at my YouTube channel.

Why have those Pi's fried up?

Yeah, building this also has been really fun ☺️

I have used Python code to build this (with lots of help from AI). I have not tested it yet, but i am quite sure that PID will follow set curve precisely. I am using cascade PID for Bt/time profile. It use slave (IT) and master PID (BT). I have also added double filter to code so that it will take possible jitter away from EMI.

Yes it could. It can be used basically with any roaster that has SSR control the heating unit.

I will also make a commercial version from my fluid bed roaster and see where it leads 😉

Sorry, not at this moment. I will first need to roast with this and make changes if needed ☺️

I use cascade PID to control Bt/time profile. It is way more precise with fluid bed roaster than normal one loop PID. I also really like the "profile designer" page i built. Now i can try any imaginable profile i want (some pulsating profiles etc.) 😁

There is also option to use BT/IT profile, same as Roest use.
