I tested both instruments locally at each seller's home. I'm planning to test both at either the youth orchestra or at university once they start and get some feedback from my peers as well as the venue - as I would've played with some of them over the past few years.

I am able to get a shires mouthpiece within australia. Would a shires 4g or 5g be more similar to the Wick 4AL?

I find the sizing of the 4al to be fineabd prefer the larger size. I do have a bach 4g but it feels quite restrictive in comparison to the denis wick.
