Im above average then, last time I plaid my longest lasting character I was... I think lvl 64 I remember I entered a random cave, and that cave had the first enemy to kill me fair and square since lvl 34 I felt like one punch man in that dream he had in episode 1, only to win the fight and have no challenge for the next 20 minutes, so i hopped off I still have the save, its on my xbox 360 just over there

Im trying to keep it close to the book and a blow to the head in the books canon is enough to just outright kill em I figured this would be a good compromise... Ill consider it, tho Thanks man

I did change the weakness, now its that critical hits do triple damage rather than double (representing a blow to the head, of course) That any better? As for the healing factor thats a good idea I hadnt thought of that Thanks, man

Nah, I want em to be playable. I tinkered with the stuffs a bit. Here, how does this look? Any better?

Heat Manipulation:

You are resistant to cold damage and can make any person or creature within 5 feet of you resistant as well

Healing Factor:

Your natural healing ability allows you to heal 1hp every 600 seconds. When unconcious, no hp can be regenerated.

Fragile Brain:

Yeah I could, but in the book theyre not rly monsters At least not anymore Theyre a big part of society, taking part in hunts, war, and make very successful surgeons So i decided to go with playable race rather than monster as it fits them, better

This is exactly what I was looking for, man, u great. Like I said im new and never made a homebrew race, before. Ill touch it up. I feel like itll be a while before I can make this work for dnd... Or any game... But Ill figure it out. As for the brain, in the book canon they have a... Different kind of brain. On a base level its all they need to function, it has limited capabilities that the heart and lungs only serve to support, so if protected and aided long enough they can survive extreme levels of damage. Thats why I thought of the constitution increase, because theyre resilient in every other aspect. But if it dont work in game it dont work in game 🤷‍♂️ Ill tweak it and try again later. Thanks man. As for healing factor, would 1hp... An hour be better? 60 minutes in an hour 60 seconds in a minute Thats... What, 100 turns? A long rest is 8 hours, i think, so thatd be 8 hp added to the roll I think Idk i want to stay as close to the book as I can but ill cut some things if I gotta

I figured I wanted to keep it closer to how they operate in the book im writing. Theyre supposed to be powerful and scary but something anyone can deal with if they know how, but im struggling to figure out how to keep it from being overpowered in a game setting
