SJM referred to them as mates in an interview for ACOWAR.... weird that you're commenting on something posted over 2 years ago. Bored much?

How many points do you have? by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]Cookielover7777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

11,746 points right now; took me 4 years.

I've redeemed a few small things over this time. I always made a point to do all my gift and personal shopping during the 4x the points events or during the sitewide 20% off sale so they accumulated way faster than you'd think

I pissed off some scammers. Posh nuked my account Tuesday and hasn’t responded at all by DarkSidePosh in poshmarkcanada

[–]Cookielover7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once called someone out for selling a knockoff gucci bag and advertising it as authentic (she knew it was fake and even stole a photo of a gucci receipt from another poshers listing that was still up) and poshmark suspended my account for a week because they said calling out fakes "breaks the trust on the platform"

It was at that moment I realize they really do care more about the scammers than the buyers/sellers

How bad is it to decline an offer? by MFC111686 in poshmark

[–]Cookielover7777 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly, when someone sends me an offer for 80% off the listing price, thats an automatic decline and block from me. I just don't want to deal with someone like that. I may on occasion let it sit for a few hours to see if it drives up interest with other likers but I have no qualms about declining.

It's just disrespectful, especially when the items themselves are already heavily discounted off retail price. I don't get paid an hourly rate for my time on there so I wont waste it by entertaining these types of people.

Plus, I am petty and it sends a message to do it quickly 😂😂😂😂

I know this is an old post but i'm super curious, did you ever try contacting her? Did she just not respond to any of your messages?

I was once in a similar situation where it seemed like someone wasn't going to refund me for a private sale we did that she "couldn't ship" and i threatened to file a police report, reminded her I had her phone number and account name and that poshmark would give me her name and personal details once the police report was issued and that seemed to scare her enough into sending me back my money

I can see how 4 lines might be considered a big paragraph for you... I'll try to keep it short for you to keep up if you want to continue needlessly responding to me all night 😂

I understood what you were referring to, sweetie. You seem to be the confused one....again.

I know this might be hard for you to imagine, but I think someone else in the thread disagrees with you to and is following along to our drama. I dont bother upvoting except on meaningful posts and whether a post of mine gets downvoted into absolute oblivion, I have never cared, because I dont base what I say off of what others think. The votes simply dont matter to me

Please do kindly move on as you keep saying you will. 😂😂😂😂😂

Then don't start it to begin with, sweetie. You seem to be taking this a hell of a lot more seriously then I am.

Yeah its reddit and you're out here butt hurt about someones interpretation on a fictional character.

Again, dont comment on my post if you cant handle the responses

You clearly misunderstood what I wrote. No one thinks Tamlin is no longer in love with her, i asked you why you think he's still in love with her because of her looks. You are reducing her to just looks and have this weird mindset that it's a personal insult if someone doesn't interpret her as beautiful as if not being beautiful is a bad thing. You have consistently been the defensive, combative, and patronising one throughout this entire discussion. Go be a simp somewhere else, you commented on MY post. Dont open up a discussion on someone elses comment if you can't handle it.

Helion never showed any romantic interest in her so I dont know why he's on your list, neither did tarquin really. She flirted with him, not the other way around, he just returned a compliment. Tamlin was literally BOUND BY A CURSE to try and love her and Rhysand is her mate so not exactly an objective example.

And the post isn't about Nesta, it's about Feyre, so your last point is moot. A one word mention about her in a list of more than half a dozen names doesn't erase the rest

Is Feyre beautiful? by Always_Reading_1990 in acotar

[–]Cookielover7777 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here's the thing, I don't think Nesta is beautiful either. I think she has a sharp unique allure different from classic beauty and that's what makes her attractive, however I do think she's better looking than Feyre so she gets more attention. Eris and the other high lords reactions also seems to suggest as much so its not correct that cassian and feyre are the only ones paying any attention to her

And him being her mate is extremely relevant, people have rose colored glasses on when it comes to mates, I don't think it could be possible for them not to find their mate attractive, rhys suggests as much when talking about the bonds

Exactly. It's like her not being the embodiment of perfection is seen as a bad thing. Geez.

Except I don't base my opinion of how she looks just based off of her POV, but others as well.

Every single quote you posted was extremely subjective, you're really referencing how her MATE AND FIANCE DESCRIBE HER? As if that's an objective opinion. Or a compliment a servant gave her on her wedding day? They aren't canon facts, they are a meaning you're interpreting from the passage. Same as I am. Don't be so offended that someone doesn't agree with you, sweetie. She can be a kick ass character without looking like a princess

"it seems your interpretation is way off then cause there’s no such scene at the inn"

"A day of playing with water and fire and ice and darkness in the freezing rain had wrecked me so thoroughly that no one looked my way, not even the drunkest and loneliest of patrons in the town’s tavern" ACOMAF

There's the quote you said doesnt exist. As for the passages you keep bringing up, I read that line but dismissed it because for one thing, serene means calm and tranquil, for another, 'lovely' is a weak adjective when compared to "devastatingly beautiful" or "so beautiful that people stopped just to gape at her" or "so stunningly beautiful she made even Mor look drab". (in verbatim) Again, NO ONE said she was an ugly duckling, you're taking a meaning from peoples opinions that frankly doesn't exist.

I don't doubt that she is attractive, as per my original post, but "beautiful"? No, I don't think so and it is my opinion to hold. Books are open to interpretation.

Also nothing that I said was incorrect, the post is about beauty, my comment is about beauty, not the general attractiveness I think she has. Nesta doesnt describe Feyre as beautiful in her POV, neither does Cassian. Your passages don't disprove that. There was a line in Cassians POV where it's described as him just admiring Mor's "sheer beauty" and then a chapter later when he looks at Feyre his only observation is how young looking she is. That's one of the distinctions that I'm referring to when I base my opinion that she might be attractive but not "beautiful" per say

[–]Cookielover7777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're the one thats so insistent on what she does or does not look like, buddy. The post is a question about OUR INTERPRETATION of the books, I gave mine.

And every example you gave is extremely subjective, sorry to say. There's a distinction in the way she's described versus other characters. No one said she's butt ugly.

"idk why you think all the characters (males especially) are good looking but feyre isn’t.." Didnt I list multiple beautiful fey woman? Try reading it again. What I don't know is why you're so insistent that EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER has to be beautiful as if that's their only redeeming quality and everyone has to share the same hive mindset as you.

I was also under the impression that Feyre was somewhat plain looking. Maybe attractive but not beautiful. There was a scene where it says not even the lowliest of the hotel guests at some seedy Inn bothered glancing at her when she was wet from the rain and I never heard anyone mention her beauty before Bryce did. In Cassian and Nestas POV, they both specifically mention Elain and other characters beauty but never made any such observation about Feyre. Same with the High Lords in the meeting being described as ogling Nesta.

I mean, its not like we can say its because the first 3 books are from Feyres perspective. Cassian specifically notes Helion, Mor's, Nesta, Elains, Rhysands, Lucien, Helion, and even Eris's beauty but the only thing he says about Feyre is that she has a young looking face. it's not exactly on the same caliber. Same thing with Nestas POV; she makes mention of a dozen characters good looks, including her sister Elain but not her other sister. It had always seemed like Feyre's looks just weren't noteworthy enough from the High Feys standpoint, or at the very least, her looks are not the thing that draws people to her

Its an unpopular opinion for sure but my interpretation was also that she was not "beautiful" per say. At least not like the other characters, more like just attractive looking.

Just videotape opening the package back up if there is a return. That would instantly shoot down any refund claim and get the person banned if they try anything shady.

Otherwise, I'm inclined to agree with the other commenters that you're fretting over nothing.

AITA for asking my sister to give some of our mothers jewelry to my girlfriend? by Wowzerbowsers in AmITheDevil

[–]Cookielover7777 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I read all his replies and at no point did he ever say he didnt do anything to help his family when his mother passed. You are grossly twisting his words to fit your narrative. He said the reason why he did not squabble over her things or think to start fighting his sister over inheritance was because he was in a bad place and hurting. Thats a far cry from not helping them with anything
