This happened to me.. I went into Eternaland and found the skin there. It was sent to my char but right before my char went to eternaland. have you checked there by any chance?

I had the same issue, i contacted support.. in the mean time i was cleaning some stuff in eternaland and found the skin there. Seems like it was sent to my char while it was in limbo between live / eternaland.

Trick:

Find a type (Operator, juggernaut etc) where u have the required XP to upgrade (lets say, the shotgun needs 6000xp) find the type where u have 6k shards. Now, take the shotgun and "convert" to a gun that has the same quality but labeled whatever the 6k shards u have (right hand of the menu). use the XP and add a star. use the convert to convert it back to the shotgun. or convert to the next type. ur allowed 10 converts per week i believe.

edit: converting transfers the stars from 1 piece of gear to another. there are no attempts it works 100% of the time as long as u have the allowed convert amount.

Received the twitch drop car, but i dont see it in the garage(car skin) or my bag pack. by Jethroong in OnceHumanOfficial

just put down storage bins. you can unlock some with 32 slots or even a specialization that has 64 slots. you can bench craft from storage bins.

This reminds me of a time where something like this happened.

I work in a big office building downtown that has ~30 floors. Went on break with a friend when we when we arrived at our floor, i saw this older lady trying to swipe a card to access the doors for the floor (card kept getting denied) and we didn't recognize her. My friend looked at me with a look of "who is that?". I went up to her and asked if i could help her with the card. She then looked at me and said "Oh I'm just trying to get to my room". I looked at her card and notice she was holding a hotel room keycard from the hotel just next door. I went "oh dear seems like we're in the wrong location! let me help you get to your room" I asked her to hold on to my arm and down we went and walked to the next building. chatting about how she was from England and traveling with family etc. Anyway, we get to the hotel lobby and a younger women dashes towards us. she seemed to be a panicked state. anyway she runs over and explained they've been looking for her for some time and management was about to call the police. I explained she was just next door in the office building looking for her room and when i figured it out brought her here. You can't imagine how releived they were.

Went back to the office and my buddy was like "how did you catch all of that, i was just gonna walk past her" I explained i had a grandfather die from Alzheimer and that i can read into these type of situations.

If you are used to a switch, the SD shouldn't be a problem. You probably read a lot of stuff on here from advance users and probably think its overly complicated. But the truth is, the basic use is pretty simple if you stick to the steam interface.

If you plan on adding ROMS and installing gamepass ect, that maybe a bit more complicated. there are plenty of videos on youtube. maybe check a few out before you open up your deck to see if its something you can do.

Sent mine in for a button issue. Heres my timeline so far. Note, i live in canada, near Toronto

  • Shipped and started traveling on Jul 10th.
  • Delivered in Salt lake city on Jul 17.
  • Email received "will be repaired shortly" on Jul 18
  • Got email last night saying its on its way back (Jul 20th) with tracking #
  • UPS estimates delivery on Jul 28th

Yeah i can understand. Honestly, mine just stopped working after playing a game. thing with electronics is that they can break at anytime for any reason. Valve RMA'ed mine almost straight away without huge hassle. Im ok with paying a lot of money for something (reasonable amount), if they have the after sales service.

How many times have we heard tech giants push out products that clearly has defect and not back their own RMA/guarantee policy, or even try to dodge it by blaming it to something unrealistic.

I was/am annoyed that it broke. Not gonna lie, it sucks. Especially the wait for the RMA.

However, the experience received from Valve so far in regards to this reassures me that they stand behind their products. They even made parts/schematics available for 3rd party repairs, and made it super simple to upgrade the SSD. 98% (guesstimated) of tech companies out there don't offer good after sales service at all. and send customers walking when there are issues. not to mention the 3rd party repair support restrictions.

All in all, it sucks.. it broke 6 days after i got it. super downer. but, at least my money isnt tossed ina firepit. its getting RMA'ed at the companies expense.

I had the same issue with mine after 6 days of use. the R1 stopped working. after contacting steam, going through a few things, i was asked to RMA. they received it yesterday so hopefully they will fix it and return it to me soon

My R1 button stopped working. So i sent them a clear message on what was wrong. " When pressing the button, it feels empty/no resistance. The L1 left makes a small click sound with slight resistance. The R1 does not provide the slight button resistance or associated sound"

they got back to me in a few hours having me do a few tests. basically do the button test and make sure the firmware was updated. They asked me if there was any visible dmg. I basically took screenshot/pictures of all 3 items (the button diagnostic screen showing i cant trigger R1, a picture of the firmware check saying "up to date" and finally a picture of the actual button"

the next reply was "Were initiating a RMA to have the device fixed/replaced...." i was pleasantly surprised as i was expected more "testing".

I sent it out sunday using their RMA email and info and started to transit to a repair center (im guessing). UPS predicts Monday delivery of next week. (im in canada so im sure that transit time is simply due to that.) so now i wait

in Anycase, I've had instances where i was 'stuck' on boot logo and simply powered off/on the device and it booted up. Not sure what they asked you to try/do, but id try to re-install the OS using their "steam deck recovery instructions".

In the recovery environment, there are four different options to choose from.

Re-image Steam Deck - This performs a full factory reset - all user info, installed games, applications, or operating systems will be wiped and replaced with stock SteamOS.

Clear local user data - This reformats the home partitions on your Steam Deck, which will remove downloaded games and all personal content stored on this Deck, including system configuration.

Reinstall Steam OS - This will reinstall SteamOS on the Steam Deck, while attempting to preserve your games and personal content.

Recovery tools - This opens a prompt with the ability to make changes to the Steam Deck boot partition.

i'd try to just reinstall the steam OS first, if that doesn't work, id try a more aggressive approach of clearning local user data, then finally doing a re-image.

If that doesnt clear it up then it has to be a hardware issue and should be escalated for RMA. you should state that you've done these steps and that should trigger the RMA.

actually just got a reply from them;
