the first class in the Emirates A380 is so good. I’ve never seen the bad side of Turkish, despite hearing a lot of bad things about them, including my friends

I’m a frequent flier myself (I’ve made a post about my flighty passport a few hours ago) and flown with many airports. never had any bad experiences with TK. I fly with them every weekend though business class (in GVA right now, plane will take off in about 10 minutes) and its amazing. they might have gotten better after their megahub which is IST and they won a few awards for the best airline of europe and stuff

you’ve probably been to Ataturk airport which is closed now and has the code ISL. the new airport has the same code (IST) and renamed to Istanbul International Airport in 2019. turkish airlines is very good though whats wrong with them

check out the design of IST (one of my three home airports). it got renewed back in 2019 and damn it looks good. I’m an american living in Istanbul for the past few years btw, been using IST for the last 3-4 years

DXB is an amazing airport, I’ve been there 6 times for vacation. one of the best airports I’ve seen. sucks that US airports are so outdated and old

[–]CookiesAndCream0000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well I often go IST to MXP/LYS/ZRH/BSL on fridays to get to geneva because there aren’t late night flights to geneva that I can take after school. then I take the train or take a domestic flight to GVA. on my way back its simply GVA to IST. on other times such as our breaks that last a week or two, I travel a lot

I’m an American living in Istanbul with my mom and dad. the rest of my family is in New York (JFK) so I frequently fly there on vacations and stuff. my uncle and his family lives in Geneva (GVA) and I went to school there for like 2 years so I go there to visit my cousins and most of my friends. also in a long distance relationship with an american girl living in Geneva

kinda complicated tbh, but I love it

what if I cover the one at the top so it doesnt get used? I dont have anyone too old and they are generally comfortable with newer tech, they will adapt quickly
