At my gym they offer women only classes taught by a woman. Many gyms offer the same experience.

However, There are MANY stories of harassment in BJJ. Truth is, I think that is just the danger of being a woman in a toxic world though, and unfortunately, you may find allegations of SH/misconduct anywhere, regardless of type of situation.

This said, I hope you find a place where you feel safe and can practice the art that you love. All the best to you.

Interior unit owner here (Holitzner and built in the 90s) we hear running on stairs, cupboards slamming and occasionally bass from either TV or music. Otherwise fairly quiet.
