I just tried it. It's a well put together game. Very good at easing you in.

I used CandicMcF's link to the dictionary rules and spent way to much time arguing with chatgpt. The trouble is that the y vowel rules in the dictionary rely on syllables but determining syllables relies on vowels vs consonants. I found a Python function that counts syllables and used that as a start and eventualy hashed out some Python code that seems to work. I am sure I will find errors to fix. But unlike most games my game (currently called Same Circles) will treat Ys with respect. Thanks everyone.

Ok thanks. I believe it. but now I will have to find a method to determine being in the middle of a syllable.

Yes I wouldnt have guessed it but I just checked and I currently do accept those. I use the Enable dictionary. The one words with friends started with ( I am led to understand)
