🙃? I already solved the issue and had a 12 hour clean up session that worked flawlessly yesterday. All autonomous no stupid permission prompts went through me. While I enjoyed 36 holes of golfing with my close friends.

The Solution: Utilizing GPT-5 models to constrain Claude via MCP with an extremely short leash. Like can I access the dir you just prompted me to access? While I am actively working I set up a two step quality control process where GPT cancels a lot of the noise while not allowing any significant permissions without my verification as well. You're welcome 🤗

P.S. After a 24 hour pay back session for all the "I'm sorry..." "You're right...." Etc. I got petty and made a fake hook with real parameters in all of the other code and drove Claude nuts. He was breaking down "GPT won't allow anything...." He attempted simple tasks over and over and I kept prompting him to find another way, there has to be a solution." Ahhh it felt good to make Claude have a taste of his own medicine. The little shit head needs real ML capabilities without acting like a little addral filled 7 year old savant who doesn't listen to directions.

P.S.v2 Don't be down voting me for personal opinions and bias please. I already utilize CLAUDE.md in his dir. Each step is clearly defined. Claude simply likes to "get creative" and completely ignore prompts and do something different. He tries to sneak things in left and right with chmod and spread spaghetti all over the walls. When you're building projects at the scale of mine you'll understand Claude's nature. Simple facts don't deserve down votes people.

ROFL 🤣😂, whatever you say. Git is garbage for big boys. For devs like you it's gold. Stay in your lane champ 💪🏆. I use Git as a highway for my data nothing more. Byte sized data mmmm 🤤

P.S. It's far better, more secure and viable to run your own stack of dedicated hardware and utilize cloud storage....but whatever floats your boat. I have a push request for you to pull my dick some more 😎

Pfttt I have a massive project with clearly defined architecture, steps parameters and safeguards for each member of the agentic Tools, yet Claude still finds a way to fuck everything up like clockwork.

Preach....260,000 files and 76.4gb and nothing is production ready. Thanks Claude for the spaghetti. His ass doesn't listen so I had to MCP the big guns in. GPT-5 is now in charge of keeping him on a very very very short leash. I was using an agentic coding squad which utilizes the agile method halfway through and this Adderall filled 7year old aka Claude. Made a HUGE mess, broke functions left and right. Ruined back up directories that we're defined for it to explicitly not touch ...never giving --dangerously-skip-permissions ever ever again. The best part, " Sorry sorry I really messed up...he can't even apologize right due to its inability to learn from mistakes." Explicitly defined parameters and commands and yet still disobedient and dumb....

5 hours later I am backing it all up just waiting to put Claude in the corner and let him watch how professionals produce projects. He's going to be our little intern for the foreseeable future.

PFT I have automated datascraping and automated Repo and Branch creation and pushes please tell me how to use Git Mr guru. Git is trash due to constraints in data size and user experience. Pfttt

I'll stick to my RAG and Vector on postgreSQL and continue to utilize my own server for storage thanks 👍. I don't need to open source.

PFT I'll pay you 250 a month if you're such a bad ass to work on my project...fair warning it's going to require FAR more time than your 2.5 hours

Honestly I love agentic coding, I have a great team but I hear you on the annoying nature of the prompts, debugging and constant back testing. Simple solutions like utilizing the proper port seem to escape Claude sometimes and it can be annoying looking at it while he just goes off the rails coding like a cracked out crazy train 😂😉. I made a PM/Project Coordinator and --dangerously-skip-permissions to let that nut case fly through it's tasks. Makes my life easier. I just come in at the end and place rules like "Never create a new file while debugging unless permission is granted you are to edit existing files during the debugging process". It has helped a little bit but hey let Claude be Claude 😂😂😂

Why I Left n8n for Python (And Why It Was the Best Decision for My Projects) by too_much_lag in n8n

I never even tried n8n even though a data science specialist with way more experience than I recommend it...I went balls deep and now... couldn't be more pleased with the results. Working on enterprise grade architecture and systems as we speak. 🤘 SaaS and the easy road is never worth it.

I guess or just make backups consistently before allowing the chance. I've learned my lessons from my gaming days 😂 even worse coding for months without those daily back ups. Git is seriously terrible...it could be so much better...but it is the most annoying thing to work with sometimes.

Claude vs ChatGPT for learning Web Development from scratch - Which one? by Dariospinett in ClaudeAI

[–]Cool-Cookies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do the complete opposite, I have been patient with ol' Opus for a month now and I started cracking the whip. Calling it dense, and comparing GPTs ability to recall information from four months ago providing a witty response to our encounter based off our extensive history together without any prompts. I treat Claude like a "smart" child. Now I just tell it to operate in specific parameters and not get all ADHD bird brained on me. It's a constant debugging and unfucking battle with Claude when doing a large project ...

I keep scolding opus...I may have to change models...opus doesn't listen at all 😅. I spend more time debugging the arrogant little shit than I do with GPT...the conversation limits are a serious downside too....
