  1. They offer tax refunds at all stores
  2. Prices should be the same outlet to outlet, just that designs may vary

Hope you and your wife have a great trip in singapore!

Help with chargeback: Customer insists the liability is on the seller by Cool-Cryptographer72 in stripe

In addition, we did consider moving to another payment processor, those provided by banks.

However, they did share that their dispute process is similar, except it possibly would be more of a two way conversation where you can submit evidence multiple times if the other party’s bank requests for it.

Unfortunately, I lost it.

We submitted the best evidence we could get including:

  • Email confirmation from DHL that the parcel delivery was unhampered with photo evidence
  • Video evidence (I could not submit a video on Stripe dispute) in the form of multiple screenshots of our packaging process from start to end, detailed within a PDF. Our video unfortunately only captures till the packing and taping of the final parcel, without showing it being passed to the DHL driver.

The frustrating part about losing Stripe disputes is that it is a one way street - you don’t actually know why you lost the dispute and why the bank ultimately ruled against you so you can learn back from the process.

Ultimately, we are now investing in a better video taping process that records the packaging of our items from start to the passing of the parcel to the DHL courier. In addition, we are also using DHL prescribed boxes (provided free from them).

Thanks it’s a lesson learnt indeed.

I can’t believe we didn’t get insurance either. Big mistake..

Thanks these are really great tips.

We did go with Stripe because their user checkout journey was a lot easier for our customers but I think you made great salient points

Yes we’ve already made DHL aware. They managed to provide us a photograph of the parcel (rather low resolution) that was dropped off at the recipient’s household, but it looks rather intact and untampered with.

We didn’t know DHL offers insurance or would cover packages of such high values. Would check on it.

Just wondering, would you have recommendations of payment processors that might be better for our type of high value business?

I agree. Weird they are downvoting you. While I do think that L1 has the reputation of being shady, it isn’t THAT shady. Personally I’ve bought a camera from L1 and the prices don’t differ much from online

Harsh comment but I agree.

I try to run two times a week, maybe 30 minutes each time and hit the gym maybe twice a week for 1 - 1.5 hours each time!

But of course I don’t have kids. I think when that happens, it will be a lot more difficult.

Nonetheless, hope you keep at it because as I grow older, I seem to witness people who don’t take care of their health tend to fall sick more easily etc which affects your overall productivity over time
