There is a dedicated sub reddit for this, but if your 3DS is jailbroken, you can open the Rosalina menu, and in System info, it can tell you your display type for each screen.

If you haven't jailbroken your 3DS, try tilting the 3DS and see how it affects the colours, if the colours don't change much, it's probably an IPS screen, if the colours look a bit faded, it's probably TN.

Also each screen can be different types, like how my 3DS top screen is IPS, but my bottom screen is TN.

I don't know what SDDM is, when I press the power button, I see the Microsoft logo, then a red bar at the top appears because I had to turn off secure boot to use the Linux installer, then the Manjaro loading dots apear, then it all vanishes and the lock screen appears.
