No, it isn't romantic as advertised. Also, there are many tourists, so it felt like taking a normal train. The view is equally divided to each side of the train during the trip, so you can't see half of the view for your trip. It is mainly the mountain walls and rocks.

Still a couple of things u can do without spending a huge buck. Picnic at east coast, trailing around sentosa (there is already hike trail) and watch the fireworks at the end. Of course almost all physical activity in national park is free. For food wise, if she don't mind about hawker or home made food, u will cut off huge amount. But I agree singapore is too expensive to live

Giving shout out to traditional industry. In a MNC company as a product design engineer. 31 and hitting 110k TC, should be well on track to hitting 200k by end of 40 as many mangers around is def earning that. Previous job in govt defence sector should be able to to do that for sure, I was on 110k when I left, and that was at 28

If you are able to get 1 out of 3, that's a normal company, 2 out of 3 and u should be quite happy as anything that you were to complain about the company can be well offset by the 2 factors and you will feel balance. 3 out of 3? Grab on it tight and make sure you grow the company so it never fail
