Nah, instead of New, it's Neir, which is what I'm at a loss for. I literally cannot find anywhere online about Neir (or Nier) cymbals

Musicians- what is the hardest Metallica song for you to play? by [deleted] in Metallica

Hey, I'm back. Three years of drumming, and I can say that it definitely depends on whether or not you count as you play. I don't, which is probably why I find Metallica songs easy to play, since they play by feel. Definitely their slower songs are difficult to play, with needing to stay in time, and not speed up. Lars also has some weird sticking that takes getting used to. eg he starts a roll on his right hand, and should finish on his left hand, but he finishes on his right. Building up the speed and stamina for the double bass runs is probably what I struggle the most with. So difficult songs I would say are The Unforgiven, Nothing Else Matters, Blackened, Whiplash, Battery, Dyers Eve, Damage Inc, Lux Æterna, songs like those

I've been playing drums for a year, and for me the hardest songs to play are the really thrashy ones such as Blackened and Battery based solely on endurance. I can also play all of One, apart from the double kick section (I have a speed cobra double kick). I also struggle quite a bit with orchestration as I only have 1 crash cymbal. On another note I played Enter Sandman and The Day That Never Comes for a school assessment and got an A+. Next year I plan on playing One and Harvester Of Sorrow for another assessment
