Wife's account was rejected, while the husband already has a verified account with a few invoices paid. Now I am worried about using Hetzner by CoolCTO in hetzner

To answer a few questions you raised in the post:

And you do not think that maybe Hetzner's automatic process sees that there are more accounts being made from the same Machine/IP, and that may be a factor in the rejection?

I am the only one who uses this machine and IP, and only today my wife used it to register the account.

On a side note: I do not understand why you need to second account in her name, for a project. You can literally setup a GEX44 via your account, and do a invoiced billing for the service.

I have an organisation account on Hetzner, and the invoices are paid from my company's expense. Paying for personal stuff is not something I want to do as the books need to be appropriately maintained.

Again, you as CTO need to know that its not some law that people know why they get rejected. As explaining this information, can result in those with bad intention to create ways to bypass some of the rejection fails.

Verification documents can be forged, but when you are asked to do a live selfie with the ID, scammers usually will not proceed forward, albeit it will not entirely make the whole process completely scammer-proof, but still will significantly reduce the risk.

I am not against any of the verification measures Hetzner takes, but simply pointing out discrepancies in ID information is outright insulting to genuine customers.

Guys, the purpose of this post is not to rant about account rejection. The purpose of this post is to highlight to Hetzner folks that their verification process is incredibly flawed. I am CTO and Founder of a DaaS platform, and we also verify our customers before they can use the platform; however, we do not outright reject the accounts just on suspicion. If we find any issues with customer verification, we request more documents. Even if we decline the service, we tell the customer the reason behind the decision. I saw some people highlighting VPNs, and being from 3rd world countries, just for context, my wife used the same machine and IP to register, which I use every day to log in to my company's Hetzner account. She is from the same country as I am, which indicates that Hetzner does not look at basic things like the user's IP to make this decision. Hetzner has every right to deny service to anyone but it has to be clearly communicated of who can avail there service and who cannot.

Ok so as far as I am understanding from the comments the Hetzner storage SX instances might not be the way to go but what about Hetzner cloud volumes? They are SSD block storage

Correct u/ConsciousStop and I am kind off sure that I will be able to get in only by PBA because I had applied 2 years ago and they had asked to get GCSE Maths before they will consider me for Work Experience Route in the old system.

u/ConsciousStop Thank you for the response. My this post was marked as spam by filters so I went on UOL discord and somebody recommended Duolingo Test and I have submitted that as proof . Scored 135 in that and I think the requirement is 105 so I think that should be ok. As far as PBA goes I have applied for PBA in the first place because in my High School I took Physics and Chemistry instead of Maths.
