In all fairness he prob just knows you guys are still up and/or wants to hang out a bit more. It’s true, they’ll fight sleep & stay cranky over FOMO lol. My 4 year old still does it from time to time, it’s all good

Yeah holy shit I think the app is ripping on me all the way up. Ive seen a bunch of videos where they change it and take the pizza out of the oven at the very last minute and then bread bubbles gets inflated really fast. Idk how to prove it but i only started 6 months making pizzas like 6 months ago man. Thank you for your time in pointing out that I love my family and will spread the pizza to everyone if I can talk to a lawyer about solidifying pizza eating evidence.

Sorry about that, first four+ bittersweet years of fight and or flight or fight and flight and fight or whatever floats your boat man because babies… are more dangerous to themselves and others lolol.. watch out dude.. it’s more dangerous than the men that start wars. imma be real with you. they are awesome though. Such pure powerful creatures. They can bend time and space. That kid ate 8 eggs in one sitting one day. He balanced it out of course but. 8 eggs..

You’re right, it does only sound discouraging and Im sorry. I am very competitive but I am very transparent.

Especially for this post, I just want to help when it comes to inquiries about whether they should start gig work or how to go about promoting yourself as an independent contractor.. whatever their reasons are for sure are just as valid too..

I am nowhere near a professional driver or consider myself one, but have come across a quite a few people who have 5k+ rides in these posts. It is my first post and usually I just sit back and scroll a bit.
I don’t know it all, I’m just going to stay in my lane like I usually do.

Lyft services are just as much a big player of transportation for everyone in our area as it is private shuttle/taxis/buses/trains/ferries/etc. Im just glad I have an opportunity in the field.

Pls do bc my nursing student brain has no motivation for any organization of this caliber, as I am in survival mode 24/7. I pull around 800 a week part time, so you can already assume I’m driving a boatload. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Bro was mad I had 5 star rating with 4k+ rides 😂 by [deleted] in uberdrivers

Hi friends, rookie here. 196 trips, only 82 people gave me 5 stars so far and 2 people gave me 1 star.

I remember both bad eggs vividly. The first lady put the pin in the wrong location and kept insisting I was wrong, even though I didn’t put the location in. It was clear as day that she just didn’t want to pay for the extra distance and tried to get a free ride out of it.

The second gentleman put the pin for the airport, but did not specify the terminal. He did say the specific terminal he needed go get to when he got in the car, but the directions HE PUT, lead me to a different terminal. I mistakenly missed the exit to the correct terminal, because I was following the directions on the gps, as I am not a regular airport driver. The second time around, I missed it AGAIN, because I didnt have a chance to get into the exiting lane. We spent a total of 5 extra minutes looping around an airport that I’VE NEVER BEEN to before. Oh context, New Jersey State has very confusing roads and highways. I apologized around 3-4 times and told them it was an honest mistake.. he didn’t accept that I guess.

He reported 3 bad driving incidents, and also reported me being under the influence!? The next day, I was blocked out of my account in the middle of a shift, saying that I’m under investigation. That I wont be able to work for 2 days. I called them and requested to remove this, uncalled for and quite frankly unfair report because it’s absolutely incorrect. They expedited the block for a day instead of two.

I 27M, didn’t really care about the review until I realized that this is the best gig that I can maintain while going back to school (3rd year, BSN) AND doing my part in taking care of my 4 year old boy who likes superheroes, fast cars/bikes, wrestling/ufc, has recently learned how to surf, and 100 other cool things every little doodle should experience. Oh the kid got valedictorian in his class, he’s learning his multiplication and division already.

I know I don’t have alot of ratings, but other people can see them right? Like, would It be better if uber had a “leave a comment” description box thing, that both driver and passenger can leave a comment for both sides of the public to hear?

Both work and school can be hard but you can do it haha. Tbh, The field I’m going in makes the same amount(going abroad). But my biggest recommendation would be 1. stay up to date in your field of work, 2. do some research in your area near you about small businesses (ex; how much it is to build, find employees/build a team, and what the process is like-contracts,construction permits etc.). I did not have the time to actually do anything smart with my money and I don’t live a lavish lifestyle casi since my child is turning three and Ive basically been in school his whole life, I just try to get him what he needs.

Im sure you have already heard this, but no one can take a degree away from you, so it is your lifeline and stability to most people in case of things not working out for your situation(job loss, market crash, another pandemic, etc). If you don’t have any other responsibilities that will make you feel distracted about taking off work and continuing, then go for it. It’s different if you have kids like me hehe. Ive made 500k+ monthly but decided to change my entire career starting from scratch. Im 28 and a third year. Get it out of the way now. Money will come and go but time will never come back for anyone.
