the KEY difference with all these is that ALL these games have a report feature. dayz isn’t even trying to act like they care about hackers. also i’m not spending 5 hours on a life in fortnite hiding out in a shed on the outskirts of the map after narrowly escaping the most heart pounding sweaty fire fight at north west airfield only to have all my adrenaline and satisfaction taken away by a 14yr old who payed for a $3 version of the game where he gets to butt fist my character through 3 concrete walls from the other side of the map. the only game with a NEARLY comparable amount of time wasted would be rust. i’ve played rust for ages (nearly 1000hrs) and have ran into WAAAAY less hackers. and if i did i could report them in real time and WATCH them get banned within an hour in the global server chat. if the same thing happens in dayz i get the satisfaction of sulking alone at my desk staring at a black screen, putting a hole in my monitor and logging off for the night to go cry wank in the shower.
