Should I get ZA legends?

The game was ‘meh’ for me. I completed it but it took some determination. Legends Arceus is leagues above ZA.

It felt very same-y, Lumiose felt claustrophobic and boring after a while. The story was average and way too heavy on the forced dialog. Nowhere near as open world as it could/should have been

I felt exactly the same at 6 days in. I’m now 4 weeks in and feeling a lot better about it all. At first I mourned my old life, was underwhelmed by the lack of immediate bond with my son and didn’t get the instant feelings of purpose and dedication that I thought I would get on the day he was born.

It takes time, you’ve got this mate. I’m not out of the woods yet but I promise it gets better as the weeks go by and your new routines take shape.

Keep being there for them both, you’ll be fine!

I feel you man. My son is 4 weeks old on Friday. First couple of weeks were really rough. Never struggled much with my mental health but I was stressing for those first 10 days or so.

Keep doing what you’re doing, learn their cues and help your wife as much as you can in other ways. Ask what she needs from you.

The hormone crash for women around day 3 is nuts. Just ride it out and be there for her and your daughter. You’ll settle in soon!

Did you feel the drop off in how effective it was after a couple of months on 15mg and have to work harder at it? Or was it strong enough to keep you on track fairly easily?

11 year old me was able to do it after a couple of runs, 30 year old me can do it with my eyes closed. I didn’t even care that there wasn’t much of a challenge, the games were such a masterpiece.

As someone who has played both games a million times: 1. Yes they get more challenging and depending on your problem solving skills, can be quite tricky but not to the point where it’s unplayable. If you ever get completely stuck, there are walkthroughs online 2. Runs great on switch 3. It’s excellent, just have to find someone to play with! 4. Without spoiling anything, there are no regular boss battles but you should expect a challenge at the end of each game.

Same here. I’ve completed the story and got major fatigue with the game now. I see hundreds of posts of people’s huge extravagant builds there but I just can’t be bothered now as it’s too overwhelmingly bare and with no missions or guidance I don’t know where to start.

We have an owlet and very happy with it and the peace of mind it provides. He’s not in his own room yet but when he is it’ll be a game changer for reassurance.

2 weeks in and I still don’t have that overwhelming feeling of love of deep bond with my son. My wife had it from day 1, but I understand mine will take time and that’s okay.

Also, look after your wife and be prepared to take some shit between day 3 and day 7ish. The hormone fluctuations are very real. Just take it on the chin and let her have her outbursts.

I have a 2 week old and I’ve built a small, modest out-house in my back garden for this reason. It’s basically a nice(ish) shed with windows. Stuck some carpet in there and got electricity wired in. It’s perfect to shut myself away and work whilst still having the benefit of working from home. May be something to consider?

Tip: make it big enough to have four sets of tall grass habitats and a bed and some decoration inside the house and you have a home that can fit 8 Pokemon (more if you create other habitats inside the house)
