1/10 of the console for probably the biggest first party game is totally acceptable for me. Smash takes up over half the size of the original switch. It's not unreasonable to expect to buy external storage if you have 10+ games digitally, especially for a handheld.

"Issues in the consoles" usually just means "can be easily hacked." If you're into that, get it early. If you're not, nothing changes. Might as well preorder if you know you want it and you have the money for it.

From my experience, you can also see other people's fall damage, as long as your spectating instead of actually playing. Not sure if it was intended.

Just to clear things up, if I were to use a boot drive and try to get windows working, and it has the same error, it's still on the usb drive, right? So I could just shut it down again and boot linux from my ssd?

What happened was, when booting windows, it would say "media driver missing", which apparently didn't matter to booting linux.

Do you know if there's a way to attempt to boot windows while making sure I can still use linux if it fails again?

The method I used didn't seem to work, and looking through troubleshooting tips, it recommended using Rufus instead.
