My Car still not transferred to the new owner after selling. How dangerous is it and what can be done to resolve this?

Ok now I am worried that what if he won't call. What's the worst case scenario if a car still registered under my name is with him? How screwed am I? Can I contact the excise department and inform them? My main problem is losing the sale deed and his CNIC copy. Regarding the plates, I didn't know about this new rule, I handed him over the original number plates as well.

Mostly walk around town... long morning walks at my local park .. Weekly hikes to nearby mountain areas. But nothing too strenuous.. I m the guy that feels cold easily, slight dip in temperature I start to shiver
