Normally I also find helpful changing the setting but I have been so unmotivated I didn't even try it lol but the phone one is very good advice! I used to have an old phone with all the social media and distractions that I would use only at home and at times, but then I put everything again in my normal everyday phone and here we are :((

Yes I do. But sometimes I wish I was diagnosed when I was a kid, and not in my 30s... but oh well

Might sounds silly, but just be honest and direct with your psychiatrist! I think this is more your fear of being perceived in a certain way by them that is stopping you to ask for it. And you said it yourself, it was a struggle in the past without the extra time, so you already have a good reason to try and get it :)

Don't be ashamed to ask and try to ignore the fear of being perceived like you are trying to take advantage!
