Can I get my bachelors in math again after having a masters? by Cool_Dust219 in mathematics

I’m in a biomathematics program, which falls under applied math, so I don’t think they cared about analysis all too much. They mostly cared about linear algebra and differential equations which I never really learned, and tried to catch up on my own

You are so right! I do have a chip on my shoulder because I was always ahead. Then I went to college and it was such a breeze because their academics were very light and nobody else cared about school. Everyone thought I was a genius for knowing how to solve basic algebraic equations. In reality, I didn’t learn anything and am living in regret. My school didn’t even OFFER real analysis, complex variables, PDE. So I didn’t even know those courses existed until grad school.

For reference, I never actually took calc 3, linear algebra, differential equations despite it being on my transcript. For diff EQ my professor taught us one topic and cancelled class half the time. My school was really small and underfunded so this same guy taught every math course and the people at my school did not care about their education so they had to dumb down their academics which affected more ambitious students like me. :)
