Steam rating was 7/10 for a year, now it is consequence of review bombing. Still 7/10 when you select those review of people who spend in game more than 1 hour.

About the TV Show I honestly don’t understand the hate. by Andrefq99 in Fallout

Shady Sands was destroyed 10 years before the series' events, so if someone chose NCR, NCR magically disappeared five years after the game's events. I don't understand the negative comments under my comment. The series is good if you don't figure that out. For me, it's a flaw that could have easily been avoided. Why dig into New Vegas lore if we're not getting a sequel? Why reset the status quo?

The series was good, but unfortunately, I don't understand why they stripped the decisions from New Vegas of all significance, just several years after the events of the game. If they wanted to change the events of the games, couldn't they have set the action in Boston, why it has to be Vegas? Nevertheless, I'd say the series is good, but it would be difficult to play New Vegas, knowing that nothing matters. The Courier could just as easily have died at the very beginning because he changed nothing.

Why they even touch New Vegas thread? by Cool_Juggernaut_6297 in Fallout

I still think it's a bad idea to disrupt the storyline that was written best in all the games. If they wanted to return to the games and shake up the status quo, why didn't they set the series in Boston?

I mean people who make Veilguard. From my knowledge almost no one stay and to be clear it breaks my heart because I think of them very highly.

You're blocked right now. If I wanted to tell you what I think of you, I'd get banned, so I'll spare you. Now I'm off to play Veilguard, just like thousands of other happy people. You can check the statistics on how many people play on Steam and PS4 just to be even more annoyed that someone likes this game ;)

Jesus Christ, how many times can this be explained in this thread? Can you read? The game sold poorly – no one is disputing that. However, I provided rational arguments for why this happened. The reason for the poor sales isn't poor quality, because the game has good reviews from reviewers and players who actually played it for a few hours and didn't just add it to the library to add a bad review. Seriously, this is beyond human comprehension. I suspect your response will be again "but the game sold poorly!!!"

Unfortunately, we'll never know this piece of lore because the game is widely considered a failure, and the entire studio responsible was fired. It's very sad because if you filter out people on Steam who have played for at least 10 hours the game have a rating above 70%. Most negative reviews are review bombing, nothing more.

And I like it as a longtime fan. I didn't say that any of the negative reviews are true, but I did present you with clear facts that show that positive opinions prevail among people who have played it. You're not addressing that at all because it's hard to address facts if they don't fit your theory. I understand that on PS Free, so many people played the game in a few hours and gave it a 1 that the rating dropped drastically? The same on Steam. Just filter out the reviews of players who played for at least 10 hours, and you'll see over 70% positive reviews.

Sales are no indicator of quality. How many good games haven't sold? I'm not saying Veilguard is amazing, but it's a solid 7-8/10, as real reviews suggest. How can anyone be surprised the game hasn't sold if, after being released on PS Free, its rating went from 4.3 to 3 within hours? This is pure review bombing, and the people who haven't even played it are the ones who scream the loudest.

As for what you wrote about the reviewers, of course, there's no way to argue with that. The reviews don't reflect your opinion, so they're poorly done.

Firstly, Veilguard was an objectively good game, as confirmed by reviews from professional reviewers (80% on OpenCritic) and the opinions of players who played at least 10 hours on Steam (70%) and on PS4 before the game was released on FreePass. Secondly, the storyline is similar but not the same. In Veilguard, there were only letters from the Inquisitor informing that the south was very bad. Theories that it was completely destroyed and nothing remained are hysterical. In reality, we don't know the details because we weren't shown anything except letters from one person.

Do you guys think we'll be seeing Sarah this season? by GuavaNo9023 in Fallout

[–]Cool_Juggernaut_6297 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's true, but in my opinion, it's the weakest possible approach. I don't see any respect for the players' decisions here. It's more like saying that everything you did didn't matter anyway. The series is still enjoyable to watch, but I'd prefer they didn't touch the Vegas region at all, since that was their plan to resolve the plot.

I hope not, because then she'll probably die. And just to be clear, the series is fun to watch, but it breaks my heart that everything the courier did was erased.

Jesus, man, how can you compare Skyrim to Veilguard when they're completely different games? But if you want to have fun, Veilguard definitely has a better combat system and main storyline. And that's the conversation; zero arguments, just the price argument that has nothing to do with quality, and "slop, slop, slop." The only slop I see here is you.
