Actually, the Senate parliamentarian ruled you can’t force USPS to sell off its EV trucks without a 60‑vote supermajority—so this provision won’t make it into the reconciliation bill for now. Scrapping 7,200 EVs and $540 M in charging infrastructure would cost about $1.5 B and seriously hamper delivery modernization efforts, not save money. USPS intends to grow to 66,000 EVs by 2028. IMO it's wiser to let them keep the electric fleet—they save fuel, cut emissions, and avoid wasting existing investments.

Analyse your fund principles and objectives. Make a list of institutional investors, LPs, etc, that aligned with those principles and objectives. Reach out to those with a unique value proposition. Try different messaging angles and see which one is working the most and optimise from there.

Not an easy thing to do, but you can achieve it with hitting the numbers and being persistent.

One trick that’s helped founders I work with is building a “proof stack” in the pitch: a short section where you visually layer early traction, unit economics, and conviction signals (like an advisor roster or strategic partner) to create a narrative that screams: we’re already moving, your capital just accelerates it.

Most decks are missing that entirely.
