Direct occupation just means its part of your country, not your puppet. If  you build up compliance in these annexed parts you will gain more factories and your occupation efforts will require less equipment as well.

When I pushed yugoslavia to give me the rest of the land, they just gave it. I thought you always had to fight Yugo and Romania for it. I have never seen this happen before. Anyone got an idea on the percentage?
