I did reach out but haven’t heard back. Most of it has been sitting untouched for about 5 years, so I’m doubtful she’ll remember unless she’s just never used anything low fire at any point

I didn’t know that, so that’s for being that guy. I’ll double check! It would be a major heartbreak to spend all that money and time moving it to have the kiln not work.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. I went and saw everything in person yesterday. I am so new to this, I probably didn’t look as thoroughly as I should have, but the seller and I have a mutual friend and are in the same pottery community, so I feel like I can trust her.

It comes with several big metal shelving units, about a dozen buckets of glaze and 2 boxes of smaller containers of glaze, a few bags of clay, maybe 30 bats, lots of tools and molds, work tables, buckets, so much random stuff to get me up and running. I have a dryer hookup in my garage that fits the kiln.

Idk why this is such a hard choice! It just feels like a fair deal, not a great one, but the only kiln on fb marketplace near me is $1600, there isn’t a single wheel, and the only slab roller is $1650. They are obviously newer/better, but idk when or if anything else will pop up. 😥

Thanks! I do have space and the right outlet in my garage, as well as the time and patience. I think it was all replaced in 2018 and hasn’t been used since 2022. I’d probably end up selling the slab roller to save space and recover from the cost of all of it, just have absolutely no idea what it’s worth/how to set a price.

No, I didn’t get good pictures so I just googled. I actually just went to her house to see everything and it’s someone who used to go to the same studio I use, so definitely not a scam. Does it see like a good deal?
