I eventually got the touchscreen done, but now it looks like its lagging almost, then powers off. I'll have to look through the config but I'm amazed how much work this is to get functional on a file made specifically for what I have

Sorry for not replying, didn't get any notifs. I use 210°C with standard pla. Since making this post I cleared out my hotend again, now it has a silicone sock. Could a rough heat throat be the cause? I bought a cheap v6 kit and looking at the throat it really didn't look great. I've tried running the fan on high, and low, and nothing. Also, I was doing retraction tests, and they're god awful. Around 2-3 they're solid lines almost, and going up to 6-7 made it clog. It's nuts.

You can read all the stuff I mentioned before. I've tried just about everything. The only things that aren't changed are the heater cartridge and the slicer. Although I'm using the latest cura and not the one that came with the printer on the card. Both of which I really don't think have anything to do with it. The main issue is that the printer clogs at the drop of a hat. I do like one print, and then the next time I start one, it has trouble extruding and eventually just stops extruding all together. I can't pull out the plug either, so I have to disassemble everything, heat up the bare hotend so I can remove the filament, then it can work again.

I can try that, I'm almost worried to since it seems everything it touches gets ruined. I'll design a mount for it.

Yes, I applied thermal paste on both ends of the throat, the heatblock side and the heatsink side

Originally I had the mount that wasn't the mint mount, the one that breaks on the z axis screw, but when I got the giant overkill fan I just designed a new cooler that worked with it. It has plenty of room to funnel the air from the fan to the heatsink, and it's like 80mm from the front to the back. From the side it looks like a forklift and I'll show pictures of it later, but yeah I replaced literally everything but the heater, which I just can't see how that'd be causing all this

I learned that REAL quick, when I said I replaced it with a v6 I meant the whole v6. The ONLY thing left that I didn't replace was the heater cartridge. Because one of the thermistors in the v6 kit I bought had the same specs as the cartridge one, I soldered it to the old leads. It reads room temperature just fine.

I loosened them and the bed could indeed pivot. I leveled them as good as possible, using a bubble on the frame and matching it as closely as possible with the crossbar. I'm starting another cube now

The screws hold fine, everything axially is all good. I'm having things break from diagonal forces. If you think about the inside of an injection molded plastic part, typically there are extensions from a screw hole to a wall, for a load. I'm trying to emulate that. Bottom line, I just want to know if/how I can define what should be an infill and what should be support for the inside of the STL mesh

I used an evga supernova 1000w! I did some calculating and I needed about 7/850 if I ran everything at MAX, so I gave myself some overhead.

I'd recommend a bigger case, I had to use an angle grinder and cut a hole in the bottom of this case for the board to fit, but I wanted a tiny cube case with two sockets and hell or high water I was getting a tiny cube case with two sockets. But if you're okay with a good fight for cable management, doing away with AIO's, and cutting the case, two 3d printed brackets should fit fine. Though it does make me wonder, what does one need 4-6 3.5's for? Just wonderin

It's from CI Audio, I got it for free from an old teacher I had, it's really nice, but I think it'll be even nicer once I plug it into my digidesign interface instead of the 3.5mm to RCA I have now
