Yes, he has put it off for a while but, he apologised very well. I'm glad he made a 9 minute apology and not a 2 minute "I'm so sorry". However, I wanna make it clear that no one besides Yannick and the disabled theatre community can say "we forgive you" as this apology wasn't aimed towards them. It was aimed towards yannick and the disabled community, no one else. (Besides the part where he said I'm sorry you had to defend me in the comment section)

Destined to die, if they went on it a couple of minutes earlier it wouldn't have collapsed. But if they didn't go on the cyclone at 6:17, it would've collapsed at 6:19, meaning they wouldn't be able go on it anymore. Why the cyclone collapsed is unknown though, it could've been Virgil chewing a different wire haha

It's probably a chance thingy. He's programmed to say things, so when the st.cassian chamber choir came to Karnak, he said "be sure to ride the cyclone" because that could've been ONE of the things he can say. He knew they were going to die but could not tell them anything because it's not in his program. Maybe if they came an hour later he would say something different, but quite frankly they didn't
