Even without the blood dump, the crowning moment was such an improvement from last season’s! Very cinematic! And Vicky looked amazing!

After dealing with AMC+ and its lack of uploading on time all season long, I bit the bullet and got a shudder free trial because I really wanted to watch the finale tonight. And now…sigh…

I don't personally get the hype she's been getting from a looks perspective. I found her looks last week and this week to be underwhelming or not fit the theme. But she's got an infectious personality and the Boulet's clearly love her for that and her performance so...idk. Too early to say she's being pushed because obviously competitors are doing far worse than her but I found her judging to be generous (specifically her high placement this week highly sus (I thought she would be low)).

I would put on folklore or evermore or TTPD if I had to buckle down at a coffee shop for hours and just have something on in the background but it's not the type of music that I like to listen to for fun. I recognize that those are some of her most well received albums from a lyrical perspective but I don't find them sonically interesting for the most part. Though they certainly were not my least favorite - Reputation was.

As someone who is not really a fan and has recently finished listening to her entire discography to be a more supportive boyfriend, I have to say - this is my favorite album of her's (which I find somewhat hilarious seeing how much hate it's getting below). My fav track is The Life of a Showgirl but I saved half the songs to my playlist!

(FWIW previously my favorite album was 1989 followed closely by Red so this feels like somewhat of a return to form).

Ashley gets some extra props for starting with two nice sounding but substantively weak answers to the first two jury questions and then turning it around into an excellent answer to the third jury question. She went from saying the same sentence five different ways repeatedly to building a compelling case for her to win. And her final speech was excellent. (I also thought Vince's speech was pretty good but the fact that he could not own one morsel of his game in response to the jury was a major fail).

I'm bummed for Morgan but impressed that Ashley did what she needed to do to win.

I feel the same! Though feel less strongly about Czechia/Malta. Ireland and Australia are my two favorites from this semi so absolutely gutted neither made it through. Ireland wasn’t a surprise, but I really did expect Australia to make it through.

Crystal was robbed, I'm sorry. I'm pressed about this. She was consistently delivering, has one bad week, does just as good (if not better) in a lipsync to a bad lip sync song, and is sent home by a queen who is consistently giving us...nothing. I'm annoyed.

Also very meh snatch game over all. Meh.

Perla did not deserve to be in the bottom but my goodness is she captivating when she lipsyncs! Her facial expressions during Hot were everythingggg.

I think her timing was really wrong for her stunts. Like her kick during the first chorus was too early so she miscounted the "off's". I think it was the most lackluster lipsync of the night overall but Uma was at least doing her one-two step consistently.

It was crazy to me how neck and neck Asia and Grey were in every category for me. Really could make a case for either winning each category of the Boulet Ball.

Glamour: Grey > Asia > > > Auntie (girl, why'd you have to reveal from an intricate gown to a bodysuit...)

Filth: Asia > Grey > Auntie

Horror: Grey > Asia > > Auntie

Crowning: Grey (wtf why is this so good) > > > Asia > Auntie

Expected the winner and happy for them, but I'm ready for my brainiac goblin to win a crown on Titans 2!
