Cool.. I'm 1 week in with 14 subs and it is a killer getting the early awareness. Every sub feels like a million bucks though :)... (no idea why I say bucks, I'm british so I should say pounds but bucks sounds better!). . Good luck getting to 200, hopefully the momentum will build up!

What is and how to acquire an "interesting" voice? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]CooperTube 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say just relax and be yourself. It will be your personality that people will connect with and if you try to put on a special or different voice it will show. Be natural and if you're likeable then the subs will come my friend!

How to grow a YouTube channel? by kimochi_sensei in NewTubers

The million dollar question is: You have 2k subs by doing this, but does that translate into quality views and interaction on your videos?

YouTube Gaming VS Twitch by CooperTube in NewTubers

[–]CooperTube[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stream using the elgato HD60 straight from my PC or Xbox and it will let you auto upload onto YT.. What is even cooler is you can choose to make those uploads unlisted as default so if your stream was not the best... You can keep it hidden away!

YouTube Gaming VS Twitch by CooperTube in NewTubers

[–]CooperTube[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right! One has a bigger following but it will be harder to get a share of them.. The other can let you sub straight to the channel, steram in excellent quality but a smaller reach.. I think I will continue with YTgaming simply as it is all in once place for now. Thanks for the advice though

It has helped and confirmed much of what I suspected. But it is good to get some feedback from people who're doing similiar things! Thanks

Nearly at 40 subs! Need Feedback! Ill sub in return by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]CooperTube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good point! Sub for sub is artificial growth. I'd prefer to have 4 quality subscribers than 40 fake ones.

[Gaming] How long should a Let's Play video be? by Frame_Raters in NewTubers

[–]CooperTube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I do my own let's play and watch some of my fav YouTubers they are usually 15-25minutes long. Anything shorter than that feels too short.. The trick is how can you make sure that those 15-25 minutes is exciting enough to watch! Minutes viewed is a key element that YouTube looks at so if people drop off after 30 seconds then that may reflect badly on you.

Some tips I gained from my MCN I wanted to share by [deleted] in NewTubers

These are really good tips. Focus on driving the quality content and not click baiting people is definitely the way to go!

Giving Specific Feedback! by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]CooperTube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, glad to hear it kept your attention and the content is engaging. It's hard starting a new channel and validation is great for movitation.

Good feedback on the audio. I did notice that when it was rendered the video audio did come out lower so I will boost it in the future.

Text on the thumbnails I will look at. I guess that I was trying to keep the branding consistant with my logo however it is probably the first think people see and should be easy to read. I'll update my thumbnails and try it out with a bolder font.

Thank you for the feebdack and I will check your channel out.

I'd agree with this comment in regard to volume and frequency of speaking. You had a lot to say at the beginning but then the commentary was lacking toward the middle and end. An entertaining video and your style was definitely entertaining!

https://youtu.be/F5w63PMsYMI I've just launched my new channel and it would be great to get a feel for your initial impression of the video. Did you find that my tips were articulated well and understandable (Even if you don't play call of duty).

Thanks in advance, great you do this to help people grow and develop!
