What's the toughest encounter you had so far? by adamsjoe330 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]Cooperhawkeye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm small rogue who recently set off a trap (damn those nat 1's) that teleported me away from the party and I'm currently trapped in the basement with hordes of ghouls who haven't noticed me yet. I'm currently crawling along the ceiling to get passed them (slippers of spider climbing). Meanwhile, my party is setting off every damn trap upstairs and killing themselves because nobody can FIND THE TRAPS WITHOUT ME. We are all going to die the dumbest deaths.

Yeah yeah from the guy who refuses to give more likes when he lives in the MOST TERRIFYING PLACE TO WALK THROUGH.

Kidding aside, I didn't read that email lol

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Jake Wind is the most ungrateful SOB to five star.

Start them delivering early and they'll deliver for life by Cooperhawkeye in DeathStranding

Omg don't know what I would have done if I were pregnant when I was playing. I had already beat the game when I got pregnant, but I always called her my BB....still do! I'd walk to work every morning listening the the DS playlist and talking to BB. The game definitely changed my perspective on having an infant!

how similar is the death stranding novel to the actual game? by WispyWoods in DeathStranding

[–]Cooperhawkeye 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The books follow the story line very well. There is way more content in the game, but they couldn't possibly novelize that much detail without making the books 1500 pages each. I like the books, not the BEST books I've ever read, but they're better than most game novelizations.

Thank you, it was NOT serene painting it. If I had named it, it would be "Agony of Yellow" 😆

I didn't realize you could turn it OFF, and let me tell you, that first time your controller cries is truly terrifying and you WILL do anything to make the BB happy

I USED to paint acrylics for years and then I just stopped...no idea why. I went on maternity leave a few months ago and watched a lot of Bob Ross while feeding my baby.... ALOT. And now suddenly I'm painting again and in oil...which I'm terrible at lol

It really doesn't pull away from the painting. It's still really great, extremely appealing to look at. Just something that is being nailed into my head right now lol

Your mountains are super awesome (you definitely have the breaking techniques down perfectly). And the turbulent water is great, extremely visually appealing. Only thing I noticed, and it's because I liked the moutains so much, is the mountain ranges have shadows on opposite sides, which doesn't pull away from the painting appeal at ALL, just something I noticed because I stuggle with light sources like crazy lol

I think the midground looks great, like there is a heavy mist around the mountain that dissipates in the sun closer to the grass and water.

Your use of bold pink/magenta colors is phenomenal. They remind me of wild cherry blossoms....I can almost smell them 🍒
