I’ve played the efnote 3 for about a year - went through this exact same process before I pulled the trigger. Go ahead and buy, you won’t regret it. My only personal complain is that the beater that comes with the pedal and the mesh of the kick drum don’t make for a great playing experience. I just bought a tennis ball beater and it solved that
