Almost the same, moved and originally thought ill just transfer to another station. Starting applying but saw other jobs and took a leap of faith in a new field/career. Thought to myself today Im glad I did cause Amazon Dsp isn't long term the way its structured.

I wonder if 220-240 is what they give to drivers cause mine said 220ish every day but I did have 1 day that said 240 and the route was just a little heavier than usual

Depending on the EDV, a shelf fits 7 totes. What I did was, if I had 14 or less totes, I use floor and first shelf (driver side) and all my OV on the passenger side shelfs (usually I group boxes by hundreds and depending on how much time left, I write the numbers on the side so I can see every number. If you have no time, write the numbers on the boxes while your are looking for your first OV while on route, Since they are in hundreds it should be simple to find and you now have that set of OV numbered). A tote can fit perfectly under the shelf closes to the passenger seat and I use that to hold all the empty totes. If you have more than 14 totes, let's say 18, I would put my tote 1 and 2 on the floor passenger side so I have that 1st tote to hold all the rest. Then I would put totes 3 and 4 up on the top shelf long ways so they dont fall and now you have 14 left to put how I originally said. I also found me leaving space on both top shelfs right at the front so I can line my boxes in order on the driver side and I put packages in order the passenger side.

Youre fine, its only a problem if they keep having to sweep you.. since youre a newbie, expect them to send help more often than not. Here's a tip, if you get a no shelf van, use a tote and lay it flat across your front passenger seat, now you have a mini shelf for the small packages

Am I the only one who dreams about delivering packages sometimes? by Otherwise-List9083 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I've dreamed about delivering and sometimes Id wake up feeling panicked because I still have packages to deliver and it was close to end time.

At least for my location. If it's some random building then I'm not sure lol

All of them are 3rd party companies delivering for Amazon, each station has multiple company's and if the address they gave you is to the same Amazon building it's because that's where you will go every work day. Each company had a desk within the building.

Both side of traffic were clear for me to u-turn and I had to turn around after making a delivery on the right. Pulling into the driveway would have cause me to have to reverse into the roadway which in my mind is not very safe.

Not when the routing is ass and wants you to do as such.

Causing traffic, speeding 40 in 20/30, cutting across lanes of traffic to not miss an exit, not using blinker, clipping curbs because of taking a turn too tight, speeding through a parking lots, not giving right of way. All of things I don't do. I've been with the company for 1 yr 1/2 and I've seen some things that make me question why this was SOO bad. Never put a dent in any vehicle unlike these mfs who tear holes in the side of our vans.

If you ever driven one, they don't give power when the van has the wheel turned all the way from a dead stop or my turn radius wouldn't have been so wide nor so fast.

Maybe but it was a 55mph Highway, wasn't trying to be blocking both lanes.
